The Nutrition Month's theme is very plain, simple and direct. It is not just a perpetual reminder of including vegetables in our regular diets but also an edict of our everyday living.
Eating green leafy vegetables, especially those originally grown at homes, provide more beneficial health than meat and poultry products.
Lot of phytochemicals, essential vitamins, and the added joys of gardening, provide healthier living. It is no wonder why eating fresh vegetables is synonymous to eating live cells. This is because freshly picked vegetables and fruits constitute least oxidation process than the freshest meat ever served.
Vegetables are also cheaper and take lesser time to prepare and cook. So make it a practice to include vegetables in your daily meals for greener life.
